Broken shards were sent in all directions, each intent on accomplishing their own illusions of power and control. With the abrupt loss of the iron control over his supporters, the death of the Dark Lord created a power vacuum that has sent all sides scrambling to fill it. Death eaters rally under the Lestrange brothers, Werewolves aim to increase their numbers, the Ministry fights for control, and the Order seeks to eliminate what they consider as the source of the problem. Amongst this new power struggle, the statue of secrecy has been all but destroyed. Britain is being isolated from the rest of the world, slowly being destroyed as each side battles the other. He had to distinguish himself in some way, set the tune for how his administration was going to run things. He spent the summer doing research, thinking and planning. What he came up with is what he has deemed the Penpal Project. It is based upon a muggle tradition of exchanging letters with someone you don't know. In an effort to increase House unity, Headmaster Heavensbee has assigned all the students anonymous penpals in other Houses, with whom they will be required to correspond during the year. Some students are curious, some are irritated, but what's clear is that it's going to make for an interesting year. Epistolium is a next-gen, canon-compliant RPG set in 2023, with an emphasis on building CR (due to a combination of optional blurbs, the penpal project, and required storylines, new characters can enter the game with more than six lines ready to play!). Soon, Grindelwald's influence crept into England, causing a split within the nation that would lead to the emergence of two groups: the Knights of Walpurgis, who supported Grindelwald's aims (no relation to a certain Tom Riddle who hasn't been heard from for decades), and the Order of the Phoenix, headed by Dumbledore himself. It's 2012 and because of this, a new war is brewing in the Wizarding World. The group of Death Eaters came together in 2009 to start rebuilding themselves for their cause. Voldemort is gone but their ideals and beliefs still linger on among their social class. It's been nearly three years since they've started planning slowly while studying their old mistakes and their blind following of Lord Voldemort. Only now have the signs of their uprising started to show themselves clearly to the Order of the Phoenix. All of the random but violent muggle murders, disappearing Muggleborns and finally the re-appearance of the Dark Mark in the sky above Diagon Alley. The Daily Prophet deemed it a prank but the Order has started to reform as well to get to the bottom of the issue. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries. The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust. It's war, but no one seems to know it. The game is set in 2001 currently. Grindelwald's is coming out publicly, eventually, with his relationship with Vlad Tepelus. The plot and arcs depend and focus on the reactions of the characters over Grindwald's decisions, his new leadership role and loyalty, and the actions he takes as a consequences that effects all. People are scared, pointing fingers, and no one knows who will be next. Pandora's Box is a dark Harry Potter RPG set in 2003. Harry Potter was the first of Pandora's victims and the numbers are growing. With every memory regained, Pandora grows stronger. It's only a matter of time before she's slaughtered everyone with her memories, unless someone stops her first. But how do you fight an enemy you don't know?
